Central heating, television and a microwave in the room and the extremely comfy bed. Bedrooms were separate, staff was outstandingly accommodating. Marvellous and unbeatable location, within easy walking distance of Mount Marathon Trail. Friendly check-in and easy check-out, parking onsite. Not to mention free wifi! Really perfect base for longer stay...

    cramped space

The kitchenette was convenient for preparing our own meals .

The size of the front room was cramped for our party of five, making it difficult to navigate around the furniture.

    smelly carpet
    lack of mirrors

The carpet smells like a old gym socks, and the only small bathroom mirror was underwhelming, especially for seven people. Absolutely no special treatment, I expected at least a complimentary bottle of wine for such a premium price. Would've been nice to receive that . I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't.

Would be happy to recommend for an overnight stay

Spacious apartment, modern facilities, with a full kitchen for making meals. The friendly staff made check-in easy and allowed luggage storage, very convenient before our cruise.

    clean accommodations
    well-furnished room
    convenient location
    reactive staff
    lack of proactive assistance

Our group had a great experience staying in the family room. It was clean and well-furnished, equipped with all the basics one might need for cooking. The location was perfect for organizing our adventures in Seward, and the peaceful environment helped us recharge for the next day. The staff seemed a bit reactive rather than proactive in accommodating our needs, requiring us to make a few trips to the office to clarify arrangements.

    comfortable beds
    well-equipped kitchenette
    great location
    small bathroom
    unclean carpet
    arrangement hiccup

The Tides Inn seemed like a hidden gem. The layout of our Family Room offered a cozy vibe. I loved the kitchenette. It had all the essentials for cooking meals, which saved us from dining out every day. A pleasant surprise were the comfortable beds, perfect for a good night's sleep. Location-wise, being just a short walk from restaurants and shops made everything super convenient for us. The bathroom was on the smaller side, and I could have used more towels. I also noticed the carpet was not as clean as I expected. Plus, we had a minor hiccup with some of our arrangements that required extra trips to the office.

    spacious family room
    clean updated apartments
    mini kitchen
    noise disturbance

We had a fantastic family reunion here with 20 family members and enjoyed the spacious family room. The clean, updated apartments were perfect for our needs. The mini kitchen made preparing meals easy. The location was a short walk to shops and restaurants.

My kids wished for blackout curtains to block outside noise.

    cozy cottage
    comfortable beds
    outside noise
    soundproofing issues

    Cozy setting and great amenities

Staying here seemed like being in a cozy family cottage. The accommodations were spacious with two comfortable beds and a living area where we enjoyed watching Netflix. The mini kitchen was perfect for making our own meals, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Some outside noise came through the door, which could be improved with better soundproofing.
